MCP tools

Available functions

Six public tools are available.

list_breathing_techniques

List published techniques, optionally filtered by goal, experience level, or breath-hold preference.

get_breathing_technique

Get the cadence, duration options, instructions, and alternate names for one technique.

compare_breathing_techniques

Compare two to four techniques by cadence, intensity, duration, and use case.

recommend_breathing_session

Recommend a technique from a goal, experience level, available time, and breathing preferences.

create_guided_breathwork_session

Create a complete 1–15 minute session with an interactive timer in supported hosts and a text fallback.

get_prana_session_link

Create a user-initiated Prana app link for a supported technique and public duration.

Connect

Add the MCP endpoint

Claude

Available now. Open Customize → Connectors → Add custom connector, choose no authentication, and paste the endpoint.

ChatGPT

In Developer Mode, open Plugins, select +, and create an app using the endpoint with No Auth. Public directory availability is pending OpenAI review.

Codex

Open Settings → Plugins → MCPs → Add MCP server. Name it Prana, choose Streamable HTTP, paste the endpoint, and leave authentication and headers empty.

Other MCP clients

Add a remote Streamable HTTP MCP server using the endpoint.
